World Ayurveda Day Free Ayurvedic Health Camp in Raiganj

World Ayurveda Day was observed in Raiganj with a special Free Ayurvedic Health Camp at Banijya Bhavan, bringing Ayurvedic healthcare and professional consultation closer to the local community.
The health camp was managed by the Raiganj Merchants Association, with special support from Loknath Ayurved, Raiganj. The programme was conducted from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and provided an opportunity for people to consult an Ayurvedic physician without a consultation fee.
বিশ্ব আয়ুর্বেদ দিবস উপলক্ষে রায়গঞ্জে এই স্বাস্থ্য শিবিরটি আমার কাছে একটি বিশেষ উদ্যোগ ছিল। মানুষের কাছে আয়ুর্বেদিক চিকিৎসা ও স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতার বার্তা আরও সহজভাবে পৌঁছে দেওয়াই ছিল এই অনুষ্ঠানের অন্যতম প্রধান উদ্দেশ্য।
Dr. Somnath Dutta Provides Ayurvedic Consultation
The main medical consultation at the camp was provided by Dr. Somnath Dutta, B.A.M.S. (WBUHS), Ayurvedic Physician. During the programme, Dr. Dutta interacted directly with visitors, listened to their health concerns and provided Ayurvedic guidance according to their individual requirements.
As an Ayurvedic physician practicing in Raiganj, Dr. Dutta emphasized the importance of understanding a patient’s concerns and providing appropriate professional guidance rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

The initiative was not intended simply as a one-day medical programme. It was also an effort to create greater awareness about Ayurvedic healthcare in Raiganj and encourage people to seek guidance from qualified Ayurvedic professionals when appropriate.
Free Ayurvedic Health Camp in Raiganj
The camp offered free Ayurvedic consultation to members of the local community. Visitors came to discuss different health concerns and receive professional guidance.
Based on consultation and individual requirements, some patients were also provided selected Ayurvedic medicines free of cost.

For me, participating in World Ayurveda Day through direct patient interaction made the occasion particularly meaningful. Healthcare is not only about prescribing medicines; it is also about listening to people, understanding their concerns and helping them make informed decisions about their health.
আয়ুর্বেদ শুধু ওষুধের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। মানুষের স্বাস্থ্য, জীবনযাপন এবং সামগ্রিক সুস্থতার প্রতি সচেতনতা তৈরি করাও আয়ুর্বেদের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিক। ভবিষ্যতেও এই ধরনের স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতামূলক উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে মানুষের আরও কাছে পৌঁছানোর ইচ্ছা রয়েছে।
Loknath Ayurved, Raiganj played an important role in supporting this World Ayurveda Day health initiative. The programme provided an opportunity to connect professional Ayurvedic healthcare with the local community.
