Ayurvedic Concept of Stress
According to Ayurveda, excessive stress mainly aggravates Vata Dosha. When Vata becomes imbalanced, it leads to restlessness, anxiety, fear, insomnia, irregular digestion, body pain, and lack of concentration. Stress also weakens Agni, leading to further physical discomfort.
